Theresianer Premium Pils awarded at the 6th edition of CEREVISIA - Theresianer Antica Birreria di Trieste 1766

A new, prestigious acknowledgment for Theresianer Beer: its 0.33 l Premium Pils was awarded in the “Low fermentation” category at Cerevisia 2018, the sixth edition of this national competition promoting quality Italian beers.

126 labels took part in the event, representing 43 breweries from all Italian regions, and among the 20 winners, Theresianer is the only one from Veneto.

In addition to the traditional Excellence, Geographical Area and New Breweries awards, other acknowledgments related to production styles were introduced last year.

It is precisely in one of these new categories, “Low fermentation” beers, that Theresianer stood out with one of its specialties: Premium Pils in the 0.33 l bottle. A pale, bright beer, with a particularly dry taste which, in the finish, meets the freshness of malt and hops aromas, a typical note of the Pilsner tradition.

The award was received by Francesco Carlo Zanetti, General Quality Manager, in the evocative setting of Sala Tempio di Adriano in Piazza di Pietra (Rome), serving as the backdrop of this event which acknowledges and enhances beer excellences from the Belpaese.
