Theresianer on the podium at the New York International Beer Competition 2023 - Theresianer Antica Birreria di Trieste 1766

Typicality, correspondence to the brewing style and extreme pleasantness are the Theresianer pluses that convinced the jury of the New York International Beer Competition. The 2023 edition has just come to an end, and the competition was marked as always by very high quality contestants and important confirmations: over 700 beers from 15 countries, judged by an international panel of accredited buyers.

Vienna, the most iconic of Theresianer beers with its distinctive uniqueness and Mitteleuropean character, was awarded the Gold Medal.

Two Silver Medals were added to the 2023 trophy case, respectively for Theresianer Strong Ale, full-bodied and enveloping, also great as a meditation beer, and Theresianer Premium Pils, with its dry taste and unmistakable bitter note. Rounding out the medal count, Theresianer Wit, with its distinctly fruity flavor and aromas of banana, pear and clove, obtained the Bronze Medal.

New York thus acknowledged the daily passionate work of the staff of the “smallest Italian beer company”. With the certainty that quality starts with the ingredients – a careful selection of malts and hops from the best European productions – and continues with respect for tradition and a production process that involves a long maturation, from 50 to 90 days, Theresianer specialties achieve character and gustatory finesse, thanks also to the yeasts that are processed to express all the aromatic notes typical of each variety.

Care in production, as well as a contemporary organizational process and targeted distribution, allow Theresianer to be enjoyed by enthusiasts all over the world: a success confirmed by these new prestigious international awards.
