A new, prestigious acknowledgment for Theresianer: its 0.33 l Strong Ale was awarded third place in the “Strong – Dark Beers” category at Cerevisia 2017, an authoritative national competition that enhances and promotes quality beers from Italy.
The event, now in its 5th edition, is sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and featured the participation of 147 beers from 57 breweries from all Italian regions.
In addition to the traditional Excellence, Geographical Area and New Breweries awards, this 2017 edition introduced other acknowledgments related to production styles, from “light” beers to “strong” beers and flavored beers.
It was in one of these new categories, “Strong – Dark Beers”, that Theresianer stood out with one of its specialties: the Strong Ale in a 0.33 cl bottle.
With its sweet taste, accompanied by hints of licorice, dried fruit and coffee, full body and intense amber color, Theresianer Strong Ale can be paired with roasts, red meats and mature cheese, and is suitable at the end of a meal as well, as a “meditation beer”.

Theresianer, which is present on the Italian and the international market with different brewing styles, obtains a new, important prize, thanks to its careful selection of raw materials and the meticulous work of its brewmasters.
