Cerevisia Award Theresianer and its Premium Pils - Theresianer Antica Birreria di Trieste 1766

Cerevisia Award Theresianer and its Premium Pils

Cerevisia, an Italian competition that enhances and promotes the production, trade and consumption of Italian quality beers, has announced the 20 winning beers of the Eighth Edition. The Award is promoted by the Umbria Chamber of Commerce under the patronage of the Ministry of Agricultural Policies.

Theresianer Premium Pils was crowned winner in the “Northern Geographical Area Award” category. Already a multiple-prize winner at various international competitions, Premium Pils is a bright, clear beer with a particularly dry taste combined in the finish with the freshness of malt and hops, a typical note of the Pilsner tradition.

Theresianer’s Master Brewer, Stefano Bertoli, received the award.

The Cerevisia Award, organized by BaNAB (the Italian Beer Tasting Panel), was born in 2013 and stands out from other initiatives for its scientific value, which inspires a rigorous selection process (chemical and physical analyses conducted at Cerb, the Italian Brewing Research Center), for the competence of the Italian Tasting Jury, as well as for its institutional nature, a guarantee of authority and transparency.

For Theresianer, the Cerevisia award is further important evidence of the growth undertaken in recent years, combining careful selection of raw materials with excellent production methods.
