For over 20 years, European Beer Star has been evaluating and rewarding the world’s best brewing expressions in a competition open to national and international large breweries as well as small specialized breweries.  As of this year, one of the most popular beers is Theresianer Premium Pils, which was awarded the silver medal in its category during the awards ceremony held in Nuremberg as part of the prestigious BrauBeviale, the reference trade fair for the production and marketing of beer and beverages at a European level.

The international jury consists of 150 experts including master brewers, journalists, sommeliers and beer experts engaged in blind tasting sessions. Appearance, aroma, and taste are the sensory criteria to be evaluated during the tastings: 2,356 beers rated, 74 different style categories.

Premium Pils Theresianer convinced the jury for its typicality, pleasantness and correspondence to its brewing style. The one brewed in Nervesa della Battaglia is a selected beer that relies on carefully chosen ingredients: hops, yeasts and water are the three elements that make this Pils a perfect representative of the style it is named after.

The silver medal at the European Beer Star 2023 is not only a demonstration of value and an international recognition, but also and above all, a great confirmation of the extraordinary work that the technical team carries out every day in the Nervesa della Battaglia brewery, under the guidance of Master Brewer Stefano Bertoli. The skill and knowledge, care and passion of each member of the Theresianer team ideally stands on the podium together with Premium Pils, for this well-deserved international recognition.
