The Cerevisia Award, an Italian competition now in its tenth edition, created to enhance the production, trade and consumption of quality Italian beers, has announced its winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earning the top step of the podium in the \u201cBock and sub-styles\u201d category was the beer that most of all convinced the jury for its typicality, pleasantness and correspondence to its brewing style: Theresianer Bock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Born in the \u201csmallest Italian beer company\u201d, this beer uses the skill of the best master brewers and selected ingredients: malt, hops, yeast and water are the elements that make it the perfect representative of the German style that gives it its name. The red beer par excellence, with hints of licorice, spices and ripe plum, has a characteristic aftertaste and aroma of toasted malt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organized by BaNAB (the Italian Beer Tasting Panel), the Cerevisia Award was born in 2013 and stands out for its scientific value, which inspires a rigorous evaluation and selection process, for the competence of the Italian Tasting Jury, as well as for its institutional nature, a guarantee of authority and transparency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
